Visit Douarnenez-Tréboul in Brittany

Located in Douarnenez-Tréboul in Brittany (Brittany network), our Kerleyou campsite is ideally situated for your vacations. If you’re looking for a campsite in South Finistère, close to the beach, come and visit Douarnenez-Tréboul, the town with three ports !

Nestled at the end of a curved bay, Douarnenez is a picturesque district full of charm and authenticity, with narrow streets and stairways leading down to the sea.

Discover thehistory of Port Rhu, a former trading port, and its traditional wooden shipyards, which still attract many enthusiasts today.

The Douarnenez-Tréboul port museum , which houses a collection of boats of national renown, invites you to take a voyage through the world’s maritime cultures.

From the marina, which hosts a number of nautical competitions, the “chemin des douaniers” (customs path) provides access to beautiful beaches. The large Wednesday morning market at the marina, 1.5 km from the campsite, is one of the biggest in the region.

Ile Tristan – accessible on foot at low tide or by boat on a guided tour with the tourist office – is home to an exotic garden with 358 different species of flora and protected animal species. A listed and protected natural site, it is the property of the Conservatoire du Littoral.

Hiking from Douarnenez-Tréboul

From Douarnenez-Treboul, you can follow the GR34 sentier du littoral to the Pointe du Van and the Pointe du Raz, a 50-kilometer trail that takes good walkers around 12 hours to complete.

You can reach the coastal path from the campsite.

The Plomarc’h trail is a 16-hectare natural and protected site. Here you can discover the remains of an ancient Gallo-Roman building.

Just a stone’s throw from the town, between sea and countryside, the Plomarc’h natural site is a must for a family outing. Le chemin de la sardine invites you to take a 2-hour stroll to discover Douarnenez-Tréboul and its history, from the port of Rosmeur with its alleys and colorful facades to the RHU port and seafront.
